dbus-cpp-dev-examples software package provides header-only dbus-binding leveraging C++-11, example binaries, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dbus-cpp-dev-examples
dbus-cpp-dev-examples is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dbus-cpp-dev-examples package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dbus-cpp-dev-examples *
You will get with dbus-cpp-dev-examples package name, version, architecture and description in a table
